Evelyn Duran-Ponce is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with over 25 years experience in clinical care and private practice. She currently practices from Endocrine Associates of Long Island, Smithtown, NY.

Evelyn helps manage all aspects of diabetes care including diabetes education, dietary suggestions and meal planning, insulin dosing and pump training, data interpretation and analysis.

Health Insurance
Dietitians are uniquely qualified to provide nutrition information to those with health problems. Many health insurers cover the cost of dietetic consultation. We advise that you check with your individual insurance company before booking an appointment.
You will be required to pay any applicable co-pay at the time of visit. You will also sign a liability waiver stating that you will be responsible for the charges if your insurance does not cover the visit.
